We are Paul and Ilene, and we have over 35 years of experience in the window treatments industry. Paul's extensive knowledge of the custom window treatment process has made him the tri-state area's go-to professional for consultations, measuring, and installations. Ilene's phenomenal style and attention to detail make her one of the community's most sought-after window treatment specialists. Her friendly demeanor and skill make choosing window treatments a pleasant, nearly effortless experience.
How It All Began
After owning a window treatment retail store for over 35 years, we founded RES Design LLC to offer our customers the same high-end products and exceptional service without the overhead and higher price points of a retail environment. Paul began a home-based window treatment business right after college and is pleased that her endeavors have come full circle, allowing him to offer the same excellent service he has since the inception of his career.
RES Design is a true family run business named after our three daughters Rachel - Emma- Sophia. They could often be seen in the showroom working on homework or having lunch with mom and dad.
WORKING WITH US
Shopping for custom window treatments should be exciting and fun; we ensure that's always the case. We offer a complete shop-at-home experience and guide you through the process from initial contact and consultation to installation.
We begin with an in-home consultation to discuss your needs and offer suggestions that fall within the parameters of what will work best for you and your budget. After you choose window coverings you love, we create an estimate. If you're comfortable with the estimate, we request a 50% deposit to begin processing your order. Lead time for our products is four to eight weeks, depending on the style, size, and number of window treatments in your order.
Once your order arrives, we will contact you to schedule an installation date. When we complete the installation, and you're delighted with the results, we require the balance due on your account.
